I'm behind and I haven't done a blog in forever, but I finally had a chance to review 2013 to see how it went:
2013 in Review….How did I do?
For 2013 - Not in any order
My 2013 Goals (I prefer a GOAL)
- Continue writing freelance articles and blogs for extra money – Update blogs & articles once a MONTH. – Nope only did 4 four the whole year. L
- Exercise 4 times a week – Nope only 1 and a half times a week on average. L
- Continue outside hobbies including reading, recipes, crosswords, etc., and make time for them - even if it is only an hour a week. – Yes, done!
- Get scrapbooking photos caught up – Once caught up then big trips will be done with blurb/shutterfly type photo books. No, but I did get the remaining photos organized by date, place, etc. so I figure that’s ½ done. J
- Continue time for family and friends - schedule it on my planner. Yes J
- Continue taking better care of my skin, including washing my face at night. So so. I had been doing good, but lately, not so much. :/
- Save up money to get the fence repainted. No, I had to get the roof repaired instead.
- Pay off credit cards. NO L
- Be a flexitarian - eat fish at least once a week and do MEATLESS meal once a week! I did veg meals on average every week! :-D but I just don’t like fish that much, so I only ate fish about every three weeks.
- Get body fat below 30% - Nope, but I did lost 20 pounds, so I am closer!
- Read at least 5 books and keep record of them – only read 4 books.
- Continue donating time/money to charities - donate time or money at least an average of once a month. Yes!!!
- Continue trips and outings with Case - go some place on our Trip List at least quarterly! – Yes!!!!
- Read to Vivian at least 3 times a week. Yes!!!J
- Decrease my daily to-do list – so so. A work in progress.
- Be present in my activities and what I am doing right now - Be balanced in all endeavors. This is an ongoing (hard to measure) goal! But I’m going to say improved.
- Do at 5k – hopefully two. DONE – Two 5ks!!!
- Take Vivian to swimming lessons. Done!!!
- Try to be the best mom I can be - Yes, this is the REAL number one on my list! – ALWAYS!!!
- Be more patient and forgiving. A work in progress as well, but I think some improvement.
- Work on my spiritual goals; continue weekly study and try to make at least one assembly meeting, and continue reading Bible at least weekly (highlight favorite verses). Yes!
- Start weekly family study night- DONE
- Start weekly family game night - DONE
- Do one weekly project with Vivian (See to-do List) - DONE
